Aguila Mining District

Victory Claims 1 & 2 make up of former manganese mine. The claims also go by the name of Gallagher and Flynn claims and Black Warrior claims. Some surface and underground workings, a picturesque headframe, explosive storage magazine, and smelting/crushing ruins are all that remain today.

The surface and underground workings consist of a shaft and its accompanying headframe, alongside multiple surface cuts and small pits. The earthen explosive storage is approximately 400 feet east of the headframe on the south side of a small foothill.

The mine sits on BLM public land and is accessed through a short dirt 4WD road off Little Horn Peak RD.
